The Netflix reality dating show, Love Is Blind, has already wrapped filming season 3, and will be airing sometime in the next year.
The news of a third season comes just a month after season 2 was released on Netflix. Since its premiere in February 2022, season 2 of Love Is Blind has consistently been in Netflix’s Top 10.
The reality show was created by Chris Coelen and premiered on Netflix in February 2020. Cohosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the show follows 15 men and 15 women on their quest to find true love.
The premise of the reality show however, is extremely unorthodox. Over a period of 10 days the men and women date through a wall, building a relationship solely through emotional connection rather than through looks.
Once a couple feel as if they have found their match, they get engaged, and only then are they allowed to see what the other looks like. Over the course of a month the engaged couples move in together, meet each others families and arrange their weddings.
The first season was set all over the United States, however season 2 was filmed in Chicago which is where all of the couples lived prior to the show. Similarly, season three will take place in one city – Dallas, Texas.
Interestingly, season 3 was filmed at the same time as season 2, suggesting that it might be released on Netflix in the next few months. However, both of the previous seasons were released in the month of February, so it is highly likely that season 3 will air in February 2023.
All we know for certain is that some time in the next year we will be able to watch thirty Dallas-based singles embark on a crazy journey to find love and get married.
