The rising R&B artist Lucky Daye has dropped yet another brand new single titled “Karma” which has definitely blessed his fans and earned even more followers.
“Karma” consists of the beautiful and mesmerising vocals of Daye as well as the instrumentation with sounds that are influenced by Ginuwine’s classic “Pony”. The lyrical content deals with the artist’s regret on giving up on a significant other who has now moved on.
The track definitely brings back some ‘90s R&B vibes. It does not take long for one to become a Daye fan once listening to the full single. “Karma” surely sounds like the next favourite tune among Daye’s fanbase.
Last year, the artist had dropped the first instalment of his three-part debut album Painted which is titled I. The project includes Daye’s hit single “Roll Some Mo” which gained a lot of attention and success.
“Karma” belongs to the forthcoming album and the second instalment II. The track serves as a teaser for the project that is set to drop later on this year via Keep Cool/RCA Records.
Moreover, Daye is preparing to join Ella Mai on her The Debut Tour in the spring. He is set to perform alongside Kiana Ledé.
We are excited to hear his upcoming album but until then we can enjoy this fresh new single. Make sure to check it out below.
