Recent media reports have suggested that the leading villain for the anticipated J.J. Abrams film Star Wars: Episode VII will be played by either Lupita Nyong’o, Daisy Ridley and Gwendoline Christie. There has now been further speculation that the role is in fact between Christie and Nyong’o. In other Star Wars news, many believed that John Boyega’s would be playing a Jedi character in the upcoming film, but he will not be a Jedi but rather will be involved in a “story arc that brings him into Star Wars’ greater universe”. Co-stars include Adam Driver, Harrison Ford and Oscar Isaac. It will be released in UK cinemas on the 18th of December 2015.
