2015 is kicking off with LVMH’s Prize For Young Fashion Designers, which awards €300,000 (£235,237) and a year-long mentorship with the world renowned fashion brand to the year’s best emerging designer. Previous winners of the award include Hood by Air, Miuniku and Thomas Tait, who beat a competition of 1200 applicants in the competition’s debut year. LVMH are on the hunt for their next top designer and some of the creative directors overseeing the competition process and judging the entries include Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs. The application closing date is February 8, 2015 and anyone under the age of 40 can apply.
