M83, the French electronic band responsible for 2011 hit “Midnight City”, recently had two exciting announcements to make. First off, they are working on an album that is set to be released in 2016; this new body of work will follow 2011’s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, though they have worked on several soundtracks since then.
Secondly, they plan on reissuing two previous albums on CD and vinyl – Digital Shades and Saturdays = Youth which are currently out of print. Both releases will be available on November 20. To revisit M83’s sound, see the video for “Midnight City” below.
