This past weekend, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) was in the mood to show off his musical skills to the public and surprised many fans by waking up and tweeting “venice beach today, rainbow lifeguard station 3pm. The few hints dropped on Instagram and Twitter resulted in an impromptu rooftop concert at Venice Beach in Los Angeles.
For this surprise show, there were hundreds of fans that showed up to watch the 13-song set from the beach. As soon as the glimpses of the last-minute event were shared, several celebrities hyped MGK up. For example, singer Tillie shared that seeing this made her feel inspired about the state of music.
Following the show, Travis Barker, who was present alongside MGK, share a video for the song “WWIII”, from MGK’s pop-rock album Tickets To My Downfall. For the caption he wrote, “This one will go down in history”
In the meantime, MGK shared multiple photos and clips on his Instagram stories taken before, during and after – including the moment where his car was chased by fans as he left the beach.
MGK and Travis Barker’s respective girlfriends, Megan Fox and Kourtney Kardashian were also present to support them on this rooftop performance. This is clearly not the first time that both couples have been seen all together.
