Machine Gun Kelly Releases Music Video For ‘Love Race’ | Music News

The track “Love Race” was released last month by Machine Gun Kelly Releases New Track ‘Love Race’ In Collaboration With Kellin Quinn | Music News featuring Sleeping With Sirens‘s frontman, Kellin Quinn and Blink-182‘s drummer, Travis Barker. This week, its music video has now been released.

The video is inspired by classic slasher films like Friday The 13th and Halloween. The video takes place in an emo summer camp called ‘Emo Pointe’, we can see the three musicians perform on one side but MGK and Kellin Quinn also have their own characters to play.

MGk is playing a be-braced emo nerd who is dropped off at the camp by his mother, ready to experience outdoor fun and activities, with Kellin Quinn present as a lifeguard. The video also features influencers Alissa Violet, Xowie and Noah Beck.

A character, which is similar to Jason in Friday The 13th, appears quickly at the beginning and while the teens are having fun we can see them slowly disappear and being murdered.

MGK and Kellin Quinn already performed “Love Race” live at The Ellen DeGeneres Show a few weeks ago, and for the Billboard Music Awards last week, MGK was present with his girlfriend Meghan Fox. Thanks to his last pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall, released in September 2020, MGK took home two awards: ‘Top Rock Album’ and ‘Top Rock Artist’.

For the summer, MGK has been announced for Reading & Leeds festivals this August and Louder Than Life in September. He has also announced a US tour that will begin in September.
