Maddie & Tae are an up and coming country music female duo, consisting of members Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye. These girls have released their self-titled first EP this past week, featuring their single, “Girl In A Country Song”, which critiques the widespread “bro country” theme that has developed in country music in the past few years. My favorite off the EP is a song titled, “Fly”, which shows off their strong individual vocals and beautifully arranged harmonies, along with heavy acoustic guitar, banjo, and violin.
