Latin music stars Maluma and Anuel AA have released their first-ever collaboration, the high-energy single “Diablo, Que Chimba.”
Produced by DJ Luian and written by Maluma, Anuel AA, Santo Niño, Bull Nene, DJ Luian, Xavier Semper, Edgar Semper, Pablo Fuentes, and Kedin Maysonet, the song is a mixture of an infectious urban beat and electro, showcasing the unique flow of both artists.
The music video, directed by Maluma and Cesar “Tes” Pimienta, features elements reminiscent of classic reggaeton videos and has an edgy comedic twist that alludes to past friction between the two artists.
“Diablo, Que Chimba” is expected to become a party anthem and is set to be part of Maluma’s highly anticipated upcoming album, along with “La Fórmula” and “La Reina.”
Maluma has been nominated for two Latin American Music Awards, including “Best Song – Pop” for “Junio” and “Tour of the Year” for “Maluma Papi Juancho World Tour.” The eighth annual Latin American Music Awards will take place on April 20th at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas and will be broadcast simultaneously on Univision, UNIMAS, and Galavision networks.
Anuel AA, who has been called a Latin Global Superstar, has won and been nominated for several awards, including Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, Premios Tu Musica Urbana, Premios Billboard, and Latin Grammy. His recent studio album, “Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren,” is a tribute to his idols and artistic achievements.
