Marvel Studios has just unveiled the very first trailer and poster for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Its release is scheduled for September, if all goes well. This is the first appearance of the eponymous hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Simu Liu, who plays the main hero in the upcoming MCU film, shared a teaser poster for Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. It shows the Kung Fu master in battle gear, his fists clenched, and ready to confront a past he thought he left behind, before being caught in the net of a mysterious organization called Ten Rings.
As you might expect, martial arts will be at the center of this new film, and we should experience a new side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We could, for example, see the Mandarin, an emblematic villain in the comics.
In the cast, we will find Awkwafina in the role of Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh playing Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen as Jiang Li, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist, and Ronny Chieng for Jon Jon.
For the moment, the release date is set for September 3 in the United States, but given the current situation, it may yet be postponed.
We will see how things will evolve but in the meantime, we can enjoy this trailer. With fights, jokes, and charismatic characters, we are no doubt right here at the front for this Marvel Studios film.
