“Other Boys” is the brand new debut single from singer/songwriter fledgling Megan Lily.
Coming from near obscurity, she has made her name for herself in certain circles as a DJ and a talented bass player but, on the artist side of things, she is a lover of different styles having been surrounded by music all her life citing artists such as Nao, SG Lewis, MØ, Charli XCX and Tove Lo as some of her favourites.
Recorded with Christian Ballard in Ware, Hertfordshire, “Other Boys” was born. It’s an experimental pop cut with soft dreamy melodies, yet bright and bold with added texture. And its all sandwiched between her simply unique vocals that ride along on the track just nicely.
This latest track has really gone down well. “Other Boys” has been selected for the BBC Introducing playlist on BBC Three Counties. Plus there was her first radio interview last Saturday, April 21 about her single with Gareth Lloyd.
