26-year old Melisa Whiskey, has made her stance on the UK music scene, and she seems to be running with the big grime and UK rap names such as J Hus and his producer Jae 5.
The R&B/Soul singer who was born in Hackney and grew up in Camden, recently released her newest single, “Billin”. The soul singer’s newest single gives off a powerful and motivating message that speaks to most twenty-something year old women, encouraging them to grind and make money.
The singer is known for her defiant and motivating music for other women, which may not grab the attention of her male listeners, but will most certainly get her message across.
The North London soul singer, who can thank her local church for teaching her the art of singing through Gospel, is set to release her debut EP Moon + The Sky later this year.
