The audacious and clever sounds of Alt-R&B have been grabbing the attention of many. UK duo Men Among Boys are next up to entice us with the premier of their second single “Purple/Black”. Last month they came onto the scene releasing their first single “Presence of Man”. The newcomers want to do things a little different from the rest, and the second single proves that. The layered, fleeting vocals over the dark but pulsating percussion create a futuristic sound, not to mention their vocal control and range.
