Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi is the premiere fashion event based in Tbilisi, Georgia that offers an international platform for designers from the region to seamlessly connect with media and buyers. The event helps increase the domestic awareness of homegrown fashion and increase the global presence of Georgian designs.
Famous Georgian designer and creative director of Balenciaga Demna Gvasalia didn’t attend the 5-day-long event but the event was filled with a lot of high fashion like the Triple S sneaker. Also, there were many Gosha Rubchinskiy pieces like T-shirts, jackets and scarves, all emblazoned with the Cyrillic signature branding.
Popular outfits at the Tbilisi Fashion Week were the oversized blazers and sporty jackets as well as the more common Nike tops and Adidas track pants. Also, many pieces of Gucci and Supreme x Lacoste complemented graphic prints with phrases or words.
