Along with the Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) film company confirming that Jordan will be directing and starring in the film, his co-stars Tessa Thompson playing Bianca Taylor and Phylicia Rashad playing the mother of Adonis, Mary Anne Creed, are both set to return for the third instalment, but we don’t yet know if Stallone will be returning as Adonis’ boxing coach Rocky.

The film is written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin based on an outline by strong>Ryan Coogler, who is also serving as producer in associating with Proximity Media and Chartoff-Winkler Production.

Speaking about this new venture, Jordan said, “This franchise and in particular the themes of Creed III are deeply personal to me. I look forward to sharing the next chapter of Adonis Creed’s story with the awesome responsibility of being its director and namesake“.
