It’s been some time since he dropped Diamond In The Dirt but now MIST has come back in a major way! He has been relatively quiet in recent months, but we now are getting a taster of what 2019 may have in store for the Birmingham rapper as she unveils new single “Can’t Stop Clocks” and it’s creative new video.
It’s MIST at his best as he teams up with his frequent beatmaker Zeph Ellis. Our guy MIST have come back with a hot new track which is sure to ring off during the upcoming festival season, while featuring lyrics that sees him reflecting once again on his rags-to-riches story up into the music game, especially seeing how far he has come.
He has also teamed up with Daps for another ridiculous video, something that he has become known for. Fitting to the title, the video sees MIST being gifted an expensive looking Rolex by his lover which turns out has the ability to pause time. We get to see how MIST managed to escape some tricky situations, if only one could dream.
With the Birmingham rapper recently making an appearance at one of Drake‘s Assassination Vacation tour stops in his hometown earlier this week, it makes sense for him to run with the momentum. It’s a big, movie-like visual to start what could be a big 2019.
