The season six trailer of The 100 has now dropped after The CW released an extended look at the forthcoming post-apocalyptic teen drama series. Last season ended with a series-altering finale that marked the end of “Book One” and set the stage for a whole new world in Season 6, literally.

With Earth fully uninhabitable thanks to the general terribleness of humanity, but our survivors are landing on a new planet, it looks like the gorgeous and inviting land known as “Sanctum” might not be all it’s cracked up to be.

Everything about this new planet and the culture that our heroes will discover there will be “unlike anything they’ve experienced and unlike anyone they’ve experienced” before, creator Jason Rothenberg shared. Not only are there two suns in the sky of this new plant, the Season 6 trailer mentions “eclipse induced psychosis.” It’s going to make it really hard for our characters to be the good guys as promised.

The new planet has a leader named Russell, played by J.R. Bourne. According to the casting announcement, Russell will be “a visionary and pioneer” who presides over a peaceful society on this new planet.

The first photos of Season 6 reveal that Clarke (Eliza Taylor), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Echo (Tasya Teles), Murphy (Richard Harmon), Emori (Luisa D’Oliveira), Miller (Jarod Joseph), Jackson (Sachin Sahel) and Shaw (Jordan Bolger) will be in the first group of explorers on this new planet.

Season six of The 100 will arrive on April 30 at 9pm on The CW. Check out the trailer below to have sneak peek of what will happen.
