‘Fun’ is not a word that best describes the past few months; months that have been plagued by news of political instability, simmering tensions and the death of icons. However, ‘fun’ was exactly what Miuccia Prada had in mind when she showcased the latest Miu Miu Resort Collection 2017, commenting the collection was “energetic and positive. [What] we need in these times”.
Returning to her nightclub concept, Miuccia hosted a star-studded party at an opulent mansion on Paris’ Champ-Élysées, the Hôtel de la Païva. Among those in attendance were Marc Jacobs, model Stacy Martin and actress Dianna Agron.
Clothed mannequins sported an array of zany outfits, featuring everything from psychedelic prints to vibrant feathered slippers and embellished head wear. The party also featured a DJ set from Kate Moss and a live performance by Les Plastiscines.
