Montreal trio Solids have recently released their new EP Else via Topshelf Records/Dine alone. Now, they are back in the UK to support PUP in which they are set to showcase new material as well as their classic noise from their debut LP Blame Confusion. The tour is due to begin on August 29, which will be their first UK run as a fully-fledged three-piece, and the press release advises they will be “pedalling a wider and more experimental sound that borrows strands from Dinosaur Jr., Hum and Unwound, coiling them into an anxious, alienated sound that’s all their own”.
