South London’s own Moelogo “just wants to be free and just wants to be me” and is encouraging the same for you too with his latest single, simply titled “Happy“. This latest vibe from the versatile multi-genre artist is his first for 2018 and features fellow Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold.
This new track is a statement of intent from the singer. “I dedicate this song to everyone going thru 1 pain or another or maybe you’re been bullied or toxic relationship or maybe Just life issues in general.” According to a brief statement on his Twitter page. “Please choose happiness. You can do it #happy”
The song is incredibly uplifting and joyous, an eclectic mix of modern pop as well as traditional African sounds. Plus we can not forget the very soulful Adekunle Gold and wonderful voice on the guest verse. Thanks to the African percussion and beautiful guitar riffs, this one will get you dancing and shaking off your blues.
