Mumford & Sons have recently revealed details of their third album, Wilder Mind. The album, which lead singer Marcus Mumford has stated has “no acoustic instruments”, is set for release on the 4th of May through Island Records and the band’s own imprint Gentlemen Of The Road. Wilder Mind has said to be recorded in London’s Air Studios, with some of the song-writing being assisted by the National’s Aaron Dessner – it will also showcase the band heading in a new direction from the folk-style they have previously exhibited, with Marcus stating the band had a “desire to shake it up”.
