Mumford & Sons made a triumphant return to Nos Alive Festival in Lisbon, Portugal on July 10, headlining a set which also featured The Prodigy, James Blake, Future Islands, Bear’s Den and Kodaline. Mumford & Sons first played the festival in 2012 and they expressed their joy about returning to the event, “we have very fond memories of playing this festival, so we had to come back” explained keyboard player Ben Lovett. They opened their set with “Snake Eyes” from their recent album Wilder Mind and frontman Marcus Mumford asked the crowd, “does anyone want to dance with us?” before playing “I Will Wait” from their second LP, 2012’s Babel, before playing “Believe”, Mumford said, “if you’ve got a phone or a lighter you can get it out now”, and the crowd then raised a sea of lights, as Mumford played the tambourine.
