Nashville Artist And Producer Bre Kennedy Returns With ‘Keep Going Back’

Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and producer Bre Kennedy has officially announced the release date for her forthcoming sophomore album, Scream Over Everything. The full-length album is set to be released on November 10 through Nettwerk.

As a sneak preview into what’s to come, Bre is also launching an EP, titled Scream Over Everything (Side A), which will be available on all streaming platforms starting July 28, led by focus track “Keep Going Back”.

The upcoming album and EP offer a glimpse into the artist’s personal journey, revealing her innermost thoughts, fears, and dreams.

As Bre herself describes, the theme of Scream Over Everything is about “screaming over all of the noise around me,” including the chaotic world, social media, and her own self-narratives. The record emphasizes the artist’s present state of mind rather than dwelling in nostalgia.

Bre Kennedy’s musical style, crafted alongside producer Davis Naish and mixed by Konrad Snyder, combines energetic pop with a raw emotional undercurrent.

Her skill in storytelling is brought to life through songs like “Navigating” and “Retrospect,” which have already been teased through live acoustic performances. Another single from the album, “Meantime,” has also been introduced as part of Bre’s fall headline tour announcement.

The release of Scream Over Everything (Side A) will be celebrated with a special hometown show in Nashville on July 30 at 3rd and Lindsley.

Additionally, Bre has announced a series of fall tour dates, kicking off on September 28 at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta. The tour will make stops in various cities such as D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston before concluding on October 15.

Bre’s hope for the listeners of Scream Over Everything is one of empowerment and self-recognition. She wants her audience to acknowledge and celebrate their current place in their healing journey, whether in a season of growth or a turning point in life.

Scream Over Everything is poised to provide a universal resonance, offering a space for listeners to connect with their own emotions and experiences.

With both its introspective themes and catchy melodies, the album promises to be an exciting next step for Bre Kennedy, showcasing her unique musical talent and authentic voice.

Her approach to capturing life’s chaos and translating it into art presents an opportunity for fans and new listeners alike to feel seen and to dance along with her music.
