Nashville-based New York singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist artist Joey Sandak has released her third single titled “Untitled (Feel Like)”, produced by Reed Gaines.
The song “Untitled (Feel Good)” is about remaining true to one’s feelings. In April of 2020, Joey wrote this song with the assistance of fellow musician Sara Keden in Nashville. There is a strong guitar line throughout the track, along with a smooth, simple build-up.
Beginning with musical theater, Jeoy Sandak then began experimenting with rock, jazz, hip-hop, R&B/soul and indie pop. In addition to SZA and Amy Winehouse, Mac Miller, Ariana Grande, DMB, and Grateful Dead, she draws inspiration from a variety of bands and artists.
During her degree at the University of Miami, she wrote her first single entitled “Chanel & Smoke”, which was released in September 2020. She has performed at various venues globally while living in Nashville, including the Main Stage at the Edinburgh Scottish Fringe Festival and off-Broadway in NYC.
Joey has experience both in front of and behind the scenes as well. During her time at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music, she assisted in the planning and realization of 3-time Grammy winner John Daversa’s album release American Dreamers Voices of Hope, Music of Freedom. She also works as a photographer and editor for a number of friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
