Alicia Keys Unveils New Version Of Kanye West Collaboration ‘City of Gods’

Previously introduced as a collaboration with Brooklyn-based Fivio Foreign and rapper Kanye West, in the latter’s Donda 2 album, US singer-songwriter Alicia Keys has released a solo version of “City of Gods”.

Titled “City of Gods Part II”, the new version proposed an expansion of Keys’s unforgettable hook backed up by the instrumental, which put under spotlight her captivating vocals.

The alternative single was arriving with a view to see Alicia Keys performs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

A music video comes with the new track, directed by Sylvia Zachary and Sing Lee, featuring a cameo from US rapper Slick Rick.

Getting out of her contract last year, the track has become her first released as an independent artist, after the launch of her eight-studio album titled Keys.
