Nashville singer-songwriter Mary Ella Hunt has released her new single titled “Need A Minute”, which serves as her debut single and the lead track for her upcoming debut EP, Dandelion Wisher.
According to Ella Hunt, this track speaks in a more direct tune on analyzing her character. The sparkle in which she expresses her own journey from the beginning.
While she collaborates with Bobby Hamrick as part of the production process, with Rob Lane engineering the track, “Need A Minute” still keeps the natural aura of Mary Ella Hunt.
Hamrick’s proficiency to become part of Ella’s world can be vividly observed through the lyrics. Ella Hunt believes in being surrounded by people who inspire you and generate music for excellent purposes, which explains her choice of the production crew that have helped bring the track further to life.
Mary Ella Hunt was born in North Carolina, surrounded by mountains and Appalachians. Nature has always been an important element in her songs. She takes the sounds all around her and builds a melody from them for her next songs.
Being raised in a small town has influenced her in a deeply personal way, which is shown in her poetry style as well. Her love of writing takes her to Belmont University where she gets a bachelor’s in songwriting.
“Need A Minute” tells us how she wants to put herself first and observe her emotions on a whole another level.
