Netflix has posted the first trailer for the upcoming horror-comedy, Little Evil. Written and directed by Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs Evil), the film stars Adam Scott as a many who marries the woman of his dreams (Evangeline Lily), only to find out his new stepson might be the antichrist.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil has already become a cult horror comedy hit, so big things will be expected of Little Evil. Although the trailer below is pretty sparse on both scares and humour, hopefully the best of the film is being saved for the actual full experience.
This is the exact kind of small but effective film Netflix excels at producing, and although their Original Film department hasn’t gotten off to the greatest start, bringing aboard talented filmmakers like Craig is the way to go to create a catalogue of captivating films both big and small in scale.
Little Evil arrives on all Netflix territories on Friday, September 1.
