Warner Bros have been spoiling us with extra clips from the last The Hobbit installment, The Desolation of Smaug, and now, six new clips have been released, ranging from deleted scenes, to Orlando Bloom talking about his battle sequences. Our favorite though, has to be the clip of Brit babe, Benedict Cumberbatch and his fabulous performance as the dreaded talking dragon, Smaug.
What’s so impressive about Cumberbatch’s stint as the winged beast is that, not only did he voice the character, but also provided his movements and facial expressions via performance capture. It’s actually really interesting to watch and although the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit gang are used to the whole performance capture with Andy Serkis‘ phenomenal performance as Gollum, the incredibly technology never fails to impress. The film is available to buy on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 3! Take a look at all the released clips.
