New Foo Fighters Record ‘Sonic Highway’ To Be Released In November | Music News
Veteran Rock group Foo Fighters has recently announced the release date of their new record Sonic Highway, due for release on the 10th of November 2014 via Roswell Records/RCA Records. It is interesting to note that the new record brings a unique quality that is almost unheard of within the music world. Each track from Sonic Highway/em> was produced and recorded in different cities within the United States, with the view of incorporating specific trademark elements of each city into the new record.
“This album is instantly recognisable as a Foo Fighters record, but there’s something deeper and more musical to it…”I think that these cities and these people influenced us to stretch out and explore new territory, without losing our ‘sound’“, says Dave Grohl. Although there are no vocals present, the recording does suggest that the group have decided to venture into a slightly heavier and bluesy approach to their music.
