Beat Bug is the new Kids’ Original series created by Josh Wakely for Netflix and it will hit the streaming service in August 2016.
But what caught the adults attention is the announced soundtrack of the series, which will feature over 50 songs of The Beatles reinterpreted by artists such as Sia, James Bay, Pink, Birdy, Regina Spektor, Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, and so on.
By now we know that Sia has covered “Blackbird”, “Drive My Car” is sang by Cornell, Pink has performed “Lucy In The Sky With Diamond”, and “Magical Mistery Tour” has been taken by Vedder.
In a press release, the Beat Bugs have been described as “best friends who band together to explore and learn in an overgrown suburban backyard, which to them is their entire universe”.
