New Slang Returns To The Hippodrome | Music News

Kingston based nightlife event New Slang, in collaboration with Banquet Records, are moving back to their ‘spiritual home’, the Hippodrome in Kingston. Now eight years old, New Slang has become a staple of the Kingston music scene, sporting the likes of Jamie T, Vampire Weekend, and Franz Ferdinand in its time, with the first ever show being played by Frank Turner back in 2007. The reason for the move back to the Hippodrome is simply to provide more tickets for the fantastic events that New Slang is so well known for. Regularly selling out, the current venue of McKlusky’s is now to small for New Slang’s crowds.
