It has a few weeks ago that we got our first look at Élodie Yung in character as Elektra, Matt Murdock/Daredevil’s violently complicated love interest, in a new trailer for Daredevil‘s second season. The brief glimpse we got didn’t tell us much, just that she was here at last. Now, as season 2 draws ever closer, we have a new promotional teaser which allows us a closer look at Elektra with her mean face on.
In the second season of Daredevil, Charlie Cox‘s Matt Murdock must face a new challenge in the form of The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), who Matt feels has only risen as a result of his own vigilantism.
As if going up against an ex-special forces solider with enough firepower to wage war on a small country and psychopathic tendencies that make Hannibal Lecter look like the perfect dinner guest wasn’t enough, Murdock will also have to contend with Elektra Natchios: a violent assassin with whom he shares a romantic history.
Season 2 of Daredevil will premiere on Netflix on March 18. You can see Élodie Yung in all her martial arts glory below as well as a trailer for the new season.
