Jenny Han is a successful author, who is known for writing the young adult and romance series To All The Boys. Following the book’s release, it was optioned for screen adaption and in July 2018, we were graced with the first film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.
Over these last two years we have been blessed with the presence of character Lara Jean who has been played by Lana Condor. The first film of the trilogy follows Lara’s life being turned upside down when her love letters are exposed to her former crushes.
How we love little sisters who menace in our lives and bravo Anna Cathcart for bringing a little bit of that devious Dizzy (Descendants) to our hearts once again. Janel Parrish who played the iconic and genius Mona Vanderwaal in Pretty Little Liars and The Perfectionists makes up the trio of sisters and plays Lara’s older sister Margot Covey in the trilogy series.
The first film did have a happy ending when Lara fell in love with Peter (Noah Centineo), one of the five guys who received a letter. The ending of the first film sets the scene of the second film, To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.
Without giving too much away for those that haven’t seen this awesome story, the brief synopsis for this plot is Lana’s continuation with Peter. The question you may wish to know is what happens when a former flame named John Ambrose (Jordan Fisher) steps in the way.
For all lovers of Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, you will just have to watch the film to see if he has enchanting powers like Ambrose Spellman (Chance Perdomo). Lana can’t be blamed if she did date two lovers at once, look at Noah with multitude individuals in The Perfect Date.
In his defence, this was for him to save up for college and his co stars were Laura Marano (Austin & Ally) and Camila Mendes who portrays the confident and silver-tongued cheerleader Veronica Lodge in CW show Riverdale. Also on Veronica’s cheer squad is Midge (Emilija Baranac) who joins Lara in this trilogy aswell as Ross Butler who played Reggie in Season 1 of Riverdale.
Now that you are all up to date with the trilogy, I can share the description for the third part To All The Boys: Always And Forever, Lara Jean with you. According to Netflix “As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips lead her to reimagine what life with her friends, family and Peter will look like after graduation”.
