Nick Ball & The Wrong Crowd have just released their latest single “Something’s Gotta Give”, kickstarting their 2020 in the best way.
“Something’s Gotta Give” is a track about handling work, university and relationships. The single depicts the relatable struggle to juggle everything until eventually something has to give. However, in the future, you may look at it in a positive way.
Nick Ball & The Wrong Crowd are four small-town boys who are definitely making their own way through the big city of Manchester, where their last three shows were all sold out.
The artists first met at a wedding, since they were all performing in the wedding business: Nick as a solo artist, while the three others with their previous band called ‘Don’t Go Bacon My Heart’, with a fourth artist at the vocals.
During a wedding, while the band was playing, a drunk father of the wife rudely complained about the singer. They left the stage and subsequently Nick had to start his performance, rather scared of disappointing the aggressive parent.
After that episode, Nick and the boys started talking and realized they had common interests, both in music and in other passions such as Fiat 500s. This is how their story as a band began, and it has fast developed since then.
BBC Radio 2 has been supporting them, playing their music in the national radio and stating: “They’ve got a big future ahead of them”.
Nick Ball & The Wrong Crowd deliver rock-n-roll energetic tracks and “Something’s Gotta Give” is no exception.
