Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ second album, Chasing Yesterday, topped the album charts and single charts at the beginning of this year, upon its release. The album is now recognized as the number 1 selling vinyl album of the year, with Led Zepplin’s Physical Graffiti coming second and The Stone Roses’ debut album in third.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ singles also take the top three places in the vinyl singles charts, with “Riverman”, “Ballad of the Mighty I” and “The Dying of the Light” sitting at 1st to 3rd respectively.
