Noel Gallagher Wishes Oasis Were Still Together | Music News
During an interview with Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2 on December 7, Noel Gallagher discussed the Oasis break up and his regrets about the way it ended. Gallagher said that the night he left the band, in 2009 just before the Rock en Seine concert, it was a “horrible night” and that he knew what he was getting himself into, but that the group was “such a mess that I [Noel] was happier off“.
He then added, “I wish – this is all in hindsight – that we hadn’t broken up. That we all agreed we’d all do different things, and then one day we’d all get back together – but it all got vicious, and I wish it had been handled differently. But I don’t have too many regrets“. No words were spent on a possible future reunion of the band.
