Noel Gallagher’s latest album Chasing Yesterday which was released on March 2, has recently been announced as the fastest selling album of 2015 so far, with the album confirming the number one position in the charts upon release. Official Chart Company data reveals that the album had sold 89,000 combined units, including 1,700 streams that now count toward the final chart position. Respectably behind Noel’s new record are Sam Smith’s Lonely Hour and Ed Sheeran’s X (Multiply). George Ezra and Royal Blood also occupy high positions in the latest UK album charts. In other Noel Gallagher news, he has recently stated in an interview that he has already started working on what will be his third solo album.
