English rock band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds has unveiled a new music video for their new single “This Is The Place”, which was released earlier this month.
The former Oasis lead guitarist and songwriter Noel Gallagher formed the band back in 2009 alongside his ex-bandmates Mike Rowe, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock and The Zutons bassist player Russell Pritchard. Since their self-titled debut album in 2011, the band has dropped two more albums, the last one in 2017.
Now, Gallagher’s psychedelic rock vibes are back with the band last single “This Is The Place”. The song was revealed on August 5 and it is part of their upcoming second EP, which comes out on September 27. Meanwhile, the group has surprised their fans with new visuals to accompany the track.
Dan Cadan and Jonathan Mowatt are the directors responsible of this colourful, trippy music video, which totally matches Gallagher’s band style.
A green screen placed behind Gallagher and his bandmates keeps revealing random, rotatory images while they perform their single. Spaceships, cars’ lights and explosions are some of the scenarios shown in the visuals, adding a touch of 80’s old-style vibes to the composition.
