The Rockerfeller Centre, New York this week was the setting for CFDA president and famed designer Diane Von Furstenberg to announce the nominees for the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards. The ceremony, which will be held at the Alice Tully Hall in New York in June, has been labelled the “Oscars of the Fashion World”, and with previous winners including Rihanna, Christopher Bailey and Oscar De La Renta, it’s easy to see why. This year’s nominees include Proenza Schouler and Michael Kors for Womenswear, Alexander Wang and The Row for Menswear and eclectic American designer Betsey Johnson will be awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.
