British neo-soul singer Stef Montanaro has released a new track titled “Mesmerising“, which sees the North London native embracing the beauty of confidence, self-love and empowerment.
The track is driven by jazz-influenced instrumentation and layered electronic bassline, underpinned by Stef’s honeyed voice and old soul sensibilities. Thematically, the song is littered with affirmations and positivity, and it evokes rebirth, unlimited confidence and independence.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Stef Montanaro says, “it’s an open love letter to all of the woman around me, highlighting their worth and importance, it’s a song very close to my heart as I feel it’s
important to pay tribute to the women that have shaped my life and also women in general”.
