Things are getting creepy in the new trailer for David Gelb‘s new horror The Lazarus Effect, starring Olivia Wild as a medical student who, along with her colleagues, finds a way to bring back the dead. The trailer promises some good jump scares as well as an eerie, satanic king of horror mix, as student Zoe (Wild) finds herself being brought back to life, coming back darkly different. It’s got an impressive cast including the likes of Evan Peters, Mark Duplass, Sarah Bolger and Donald Glover. The trailer is effective despite giving away one character’s gruesome death and this may just be Gelb’s stand out flick. The Lazarus Effect hits theatres on February 27.
