The 2023 New York Fashion Week finally took place in Manhattan at Spring Studios last Friday and worked its magic for 5 days. It is safe to say that NewYork streets has seen some tasteful people, talking their ideas through appearance despite the February cold -which doesn’t seem like a stop sign for them.
It’s always a question mark if we hate the winter weather or do not know how to style a coat that covers most of the statement pieces we carry. In this kind of desperate times we call for modern solutions. This might be more than a suggestion if we say you can look up to inspiring Fashion Week images that drops every February semi-annually.
Worst comes to worst, what’s more inspiring than seeing someone handle a fashion crisis that you struggled at some point in your life. New York Fashion Week street style was as helpful as it can in this sense.
In addition to dressing stylishly, February’s NYFW street style emphasises the importance of keeping warm in the brisk New York climate. In many ways, attempting to strike a balance between style and utility under the gloomy winter sky is difficult.
Despite the chilly temperatures and strong winds, New York showgoers have donned their chicest winter attire during fashion week. On some days, the colour scheme has been dominated by neutrals and chocolate browns, while on other days, statement coats worthy of a mood board have taken control.
