Palma Violets – Danger In The Club | New Music

Palma Violets have confirmed they will release their second album in May and have revealed new song “Danger In The Club”. The band are to return on May 4 through Rough Trade Records with their new album also titled Danger In The Club. Most of the tracks on the London rockers’ new LP were written at The Dog House studios in Wales, a previous host to Babyshambles.

Palma Violets have remained reassembly quiet since their 2013 debut album 180 but in the wake of a new record, things are set to explode. “Danger In The Club” was premiered this week via BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe. The song is a boozy, rock ‘n’ roll number layered with twanging guitar and the chanting vocals of Samuel Fryer. It even features a short burst harmonica prior to the songs energetic peak.

Palma Violets are touring over the next few months, including a headline slot on the NME Awards Tour and European dates. They are also set to appear at US Fesivals South by South West, Shakey Knees and Burgerama.
