Pandora has announced that to honor Women’s History Month, a special virtual event, Pandora LIVE Powered By Women, will take place on March 30 and include performances by Gwen Stefani and Jazmine Sullivan
The evening will be hosted by Hoda Kotb from SiriusXM’s Today Show Radio, with special appearances by Lauren Alaina and Becky G to bring their unique perspectives on topics focused on the themes of the evening.
The roundtable will therefore discuss how women are challenging industry norms, the necessity for women to share their own stories, teaching others about equality, and more.
“Now more than ever, women are breaking barriers and changing the world for the better” said Denise Karkos, Pandora’s Chief Marketing Officer, “I’m thrilled that Pandora is able to bring together a diverse range of female artists from various genres to tell their stories”.
Three-time GRAMMY Award winner Gwen Stefani will perform fan favorites and a mix of new tracks, including “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” and her current single “Slow Clap”.
Different sponsors of the event will provide various content and activities such as Nike showcasing its latest anthem, We Play Real celebrating the impact and strength of Black women on the world, while Cisco will offer a limited amount of exclusive artist merchandise.
For its part, National University will give a pre-show interactive trivia game to test fans’ knowledge on empowering, female musicians.
