Panic! At The Disco Announce Album, New Song And Music Video | Music News
Panic! At The Disco had a lot of fun with fans on Twitter recently. On October 22 (UK time, at least), Panic! tweeted: “So close I can taste it… album announcement + new song + new video”. A couple of hours later, it was revealed that Death Of A Bachelor, the fifth album, would be out on January 15 2016. A new song, titled “Emperor’s New Clothes”, was released along with a demonic music video.
It opens with brief footage and audio from 2013 single “This Is Gospel” and follows Brendon Urie as he slowly morphs into a demon. The video feels and looks like a scene from a horror movie with Urie’s quick movements, sounds of cracking bones, and special effects. If you pre-order Death Of A Bachelor, you’ll get “Victorious”, “Hallelujah”, and “Emperor’s New Clothes” to listen to immediately.
