K-music does not stop surprising us! 박혜진 Park Hye Jin has dropped a brand new single “Y DON’T U” featuring Clams Casino!
The track showcases Park Hye Jin masterly weave around both spoken and sung vocals as well as cool yet unusual rap verses. The song is reckoning with a heartbreak and transfers quite gloomy and grange-style vibes!
The freshly released song follows the artist’s 2020 EP How Can I. 박혜진 Park Hye Jin has also shared tracks with Blood Orange “CALL ME (Freestyle)” and Nosaj Thing.
In her press release 박혜진 Park Hye Jin stated: “This song had too many journeys before being released right now. It deserves to be listened to. I first recorded it when I lived in London. I remember when I was a little more innocent and pure. Hye Jin is more innocent when she falls into such a love; not anymore though I guess.”.
As for Jin’s collaborator, Clams Casino, he released his sophomore album Moon Trip Radio in 2019, after that, his 2011 breakthrough hit single “I’m god” was released on digital platforms in 2020, after quite a long legal process to clear its prominent sample taken from Imogen Heap’s “Just For Now“.
If you have been attentive enough, you might have noticed the sound tag of Take A Day Trip in the very beginning of the newest track.
It is a producer duo of Denzel Baptiste and David Biral, who recently produced Lil Nas X’s single “Sun Goes Down” as well as his previous works like feature track with Cardi B named “Rodeo” from Lil Nas X’s 2019 7 EP.
