Rapper, singer and record producer, Pharrell Williams can now add co-owner of a fashion brand to his long list of talents, as he is now officially a co-owner of Dutch denim label G-Star Raw. According to the fashion brands official statement, the music star, who’s hits include “Happy” and “Freedom”, will “be immersed in the company on many creative levels, from collections, to advertising and business strategy”.
Williams’, who previously had a stake in the brand, Billionaire Boys Club, has said that “G-Star is an independently-minded and forward-thinking company. I believe they will be the definitive jean brand of the 21st century. I am looking forward to be part of that mission and to co-create G-Star’s future“. He was also quick to post the news to his personal twitter page:
