The single, along with the 20-track album, is a tribute to film music classics, a nod to nostalgia, and an echo of the power of music in cinema.

The Billboard chart-topper, known for her distinctive clear voice, has had a stellar career performing alongside world-class orchestras on renowned global stages.

From London’s Royal Albert Hall to Greece’s Athens Arena, New York’s Times Square, and China’s Beijing Olympics, Fumanti has graced stages worldwide. Now, she is back to captivate her audience with a fresh interpretation of some of the most beloved film tunes.

Fumanti’s rendition of “Over The Rainbow”, a timeless classic from the 1939 film ‘The Wizard of Oz’, introduces the first of her Cinema Collection series.

The album, which was produced and arranged by long-time collaborator Stefano Galante, pays homage to iconic cinematic melodies like Pinocchio’s “When You Wish Upon A Star,” and Breakfast At Tiffany’s “Moon River”, among others.

With 21 million lifetime streams and over 1.5 million worldwide sales, Fumanti’s breathtaking interpretation of notable movie themes is likely to augment her already impressive achievements. Her familiarity with recording music from films is evident.

In 2007, her second album From My Heart, which incorporated four Ennio Morricone movie themes, made its way to Billboard’s classical crossover chart’s Top 20 and secured the No. 1 spot in Japan and South Africa.

The album Cinema Collection embodies Fumanti’s distinct style and allows her to make age-old melodies her own. It also gives her an opportunity to bring a different facet of her voice to the fore with pop songs such as “Take My Breath Away” and “Calling You.” Fumanti credits her producer, Stefano, for this creative exploration, as he encouraged her to perform these songs.

Over the past two decades, Fumanti has collaborated with music giants such as Michael Bolton, Jose Carreras, and Lang Lang, among others. Apart from her love for music, Fumanti is a devoted mother of four and a practitioner of reiki and yoga. She believes that her music serves as a therapy that brings joy and tranquility to her audience.

The Cinema Collection features songs from cherished films composed by the likes of John Barry, Henry Mancini, Giorgio Moroder, Ennio Morricone, and John Williams, et al. Fumanti has also announced a series of tour dates in 2023, promising performances in Phoenix, Quebec, Greece, and New York.
