US series Pose is coming to an end with its third and last season. The series has put forward minority communities through the series including the LGBTQ, American-African, and Latino communities as well as gender non-confirming drag culture in the 80s and 90s.
For this final season, the events of the series will take place in the year 1994 in the House of Evangelista, and will, obviously, continue with the end of season two with Blanca stepping into motherhood and her nurse job. While Pray Tell will have some obstacles regarding his health. Blanca could have more children and even find love.
The series has been a great hit since its debut on the platform FX and since June 2020 on Netflix. The drama series is coming to an end and co-creator Steven Canals explains, “It was a very difficult decision for us to make, but this has been an incredible journey and we have told the story we wanted to tell the way we wanted to tell it“.
“Although we know you’ll be sad to see the show go, this season will be filled with all of the love, and laughter, and tears that you have come to expect from the Evangelista family“, he added.
Main characters Angel Evangelista played by Indya Moore, Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista played by Mj Rodriguez, Elektra Wintour by Dominique Jackson and Candy by Angelica Ross are all set to return for the final season. So we should expect an emotional ending with also a directorial debut from Billy Porter.
The series has finished being filmed and most of the cast have already put their goodbye message on their social media accounts… We’ll be sure to get more information on the premise for the season, which will premiere on May 2, as soon as we have it.
