Post Malone, looks like he could be much much more than a one hit wonder. After the hugely successful, platinum track, “White Iverson”, the 20-year old has not released a great deal of content. He has however, been on tour with the likes of Justin Bieber and showed, via acoustic live lounge sessions and festival performances, that he is more than a singer/rapper but a talented guitarist with a strong voice.
Zane Lowe premiered the track “Go Flex” on Apple Music’s beats 1, which features an underpinning acoustic guitar contrasting with hip-hip 808’s and allowing Post to showcase his vocals with once again sing-a-long lyrics. Malone told Zane about his track: “It usually would start with guitar in this situation and then we would go to 808s over it and add a little swag… It just happened to come together really cool“.
This is sure to be another hit for the young artist and begs the question, when will we get an album? Post also told Zane he has a new mixtape on the way but his debut album being pushed back a little bit.
